Swatiskas Sprayed on Crown Heights Residence
August 3, 2014 at 11:30am crown heights Shmira CHSP received a report about swastikas painted inside 350 Lefferts Avenue, a crown heights apartment building.
Shmira units responded and indeed found a total of 8 swastikas painted on the wall of the stairwell.
Shmira coordinators contacted high ranking police brass from the 71st precinct who responded quickly and requested the crime scene unit to respond to the scene for evidence collection. The NYPD is classifying this incident as a hate crime and the Hate Crime Task Force is assigned to the investigation.
