Shmira reports they are in constant contact with the NYPD, who are fully aware of the event and will be deploying additional patrols in the area. Shmira will also have extra members on duty throughout the day.
Community members are advised to avoid the area if possible. If travel is necessary, residents are urged to walk in groups, remain vigilant, and avoid unnecessary interactions.
