As we prepare for the auspicious day of Yud Alef Nissan, the 123rd Birthday of the Rebbe, one of the major events which occur yearly on this date is the Mitzvah Tank Parade to Greet Moshiach in NYC which honors the Rebbe, publicizing His prophecy of the Geulah, and how everyone of us should add in goodness and kindness to greet Moshiach.
On Wednesday, Yud Alef Nissan (April 9), at 10:30am, the Mitzvah Tank will be rolling out from the Rebbe’s Shechuna, passing Beis Moshiach – 770, heading out to take the streets of NYC with the Rebbe’s message. With the current events around the world, this is another opportunity to display Jewish pride, faith and unity, as we all proudly proclaim to the world what the Rebbe’s message is for the era we find ourselves in.
This year, the Mitzvah Tank Parade to Greet Moshiach will be going up a step, spreading the Rebbe’s message on a bigger and greater scale across the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan. The organizers plan for it to be one of the greatest Mitzvah Tank Parade in NYC, as this year also marks 75 years to the leadership of the Rebbe, it cannot be passed with a regular parade. This parade will be one of a kind, spreading the Rebbe’s message on Moshiach, with the participants going on Mivtza Matza (as it is right before Pesach), Mivtza Tefillin, Mivtza Neshek, Mivtza Tzedakah, and other Mivtzoim throughout the parade.
To ensure the parade runs smoothly, the organizers have asked all those willing to take part and arrange a Tank to please fill out a form or contact the organizers by calling 347-770-2852 or emailing: [email protected]. Please note, by filling out this form, it does not ensure you will receive a tank, unless the tank is paid in full, since there is a limited number of tanks this year.
There is a special discount this year, thanks to the dedicated team who worked tirelessly with the rental companies, giving us all the opportunity to take part for way less. Classes are more than welcome to join, through one of the parents filling out the form and contacting the parade organizers. Families and groups are also welcome.
