A perpetrator was apprehended in Crown Heights on Wednesday night after he displayed and discharged a taser while breaking into cars.
The incident started near Montgomery St and Kingston Ave when he broke into the first car. Shmira volunteers arrived and observed him holding a taser while trying to break into other vehicles.
Shmira notified the NYPD, and he was swiftly arrested.
