As the flagship School of Chabad Lubavitch, with an enrollment of 1850 Talmidim, Oholei Torah officially began its new 5776/Shnas Hakhel school year.
The Beis Medrash, which opened the beginning of the week is full to capacity, and welcomes Rabbi Fishel Oster, as Assistant Dean, in addition to his ongoing position as a maggid Shiur. The Mesivta Division underwent major building renovations, making the building more comfortable and welcoming for its talmidim. Rabbi Zalman Laufer will now be the Assistant Principal.
In the Elementary Division, Oholei Torah welcomes two new principals, Rabbi Sender Wilschanski and Rabbi Chaim Yisroel Wilhelm.
Unique to this year, is Shnas Hakhel, which will be the motto of the year. Rabbi Joseph Rosenfeld, the long time Executive Director, welcomes all the talmdim, faculty and staff, with wishes them a most successful year. “As we enter Shnas Hakhel, we have implemented the increase in achdus, limud and Yiras Shomayim throughout our mossad.”
