The Badatz of Crown Heights maintains very strict standards of Kashrus in all aspects of food production done under the supervision of the Badatz. This year the Badatz is once again supervising the baking of Matzos.
The flour, which is an exceptional high-quality select Grade, and the many aspects of the baking process, are under the strict Hashgacha of the Badatz.
The baking facility has 2 ovens to minimize the amount of time the matzah has to wait before going into the oven.
All the people involved in the baking process are strict Shomrei Torah U’Mitzvos.
All the Hidurim of Chabad are strictly adhered to.
Rabbi Braun, who represented the Badatz in the inspection of the matzah bakery facility, explained the importance of consuming food that was prepared according to the strict standards of Halacha and based on the teachings of Chabad. The Hashkofos of a person are affected by the food they consume.
“Making sure that all the ingredients are Kosher isn’t enough for food to be considered kosher l’mehadrin” he added. “All aspects of Shulchan Aruch must be complied with.”
This requirement has an increased emphasis when we speak about Matzah for Pesach which Chassidus teaches is מיכלא דמהימנותא ומיכלא דאסוותא food for Emunah and food for health.
