A perpetrator was arrested after breaking into a car and slashing a witness early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred near Montgomery St and Brooklyn Ave where the perpetrator was breaking into vehicles. When he tried fleeing the scene, he pulled out a box cutter and slashed a witness in the hand.
Shmira and the NYPD were able to apprehend the perpetrator and he was arrested nearby.
The victim was treated by Hatzalah and is expected to be ok.
