Lag B’Omer at OYYL: A Night of Light, Joy, and Connection
Families of the Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch community gathered for a heartwarming Kumzitz Bonfire in honor of Lag B’Omer – the light of Rashbi. It was a beautiful evening filled with unity, inspiration, and celebration • Full Story, Photos
Children and parents came together to bask in the warmth of the bonfire, both physically and spiritually. Students heard words of Torah and Chassidus, connecting to the powerful light of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, whose legacy continues to inspire us today.
The evening featured a lively Rally with 12 pesukim with fun prizes, Delicious BBQ, cotton candy, S’mores, and music that lifted the spirit and brought everyone together.
As the flames danced and laughter filled the air, friends reunited, marshmallows melted, and joy overflowed. This gathering reminded us all of the unique light and energy that Lag B’Omer brings — warming and drawing us closer to Hashem through Ahavas Yisroel, simcha, and connection to the holy fire of Rashbi.
