The CHK has sent out an urgent Kashrus notice:

It has come to our attention that a meat product manufactured by Shor HaBor is currently being sold in local stores bearing the CHK certification logo, including a “Kosher for Passover” label — despite not being under our supervision.

Our kashrut team has investigated and confirmed that this product is being sold in at least one Crown Heights grocery store.

CHK has not certified this product, and the use of our logo on its packaging is misleading and unauthorized.

We have contacted Shor HaBar’s management demanding they immediately remove all such products from store shelves and issue a public clarification. We are currently awaiting their response.

Until we receive official confirmation from the manufacturer and all mislabeled products are removed, we are informing the public that this product is not certified or supervised by CHK.
