In joy and celebration of Hakhel, fathers and sons of Oholei Torah Mesivta gathered together this past motzei shabbos. The crowd was motivated by Rabbi Efraim Mintz’s meaningful words, warmed by Rabbi Twerski’s sipurei chassidim and entertained by the illusionist, Marc Garfinkel. A dvar torah was delivered by Avremal Cohen and music was provided by Mendel Kugel and Moshe Glick, all talmidim of the mesivta. A beautiful megila, sponsored jointly by Rabbi Moshe Klein and the Lerman-Chitrik family was raffled off.
The event was chaired by Rabbi Moshe Pinson and organized by The Mesivta Project of Oholei Torah and co-sponsored by the PTA.
The Mesivta Project, under direction of Esty Kugel and with direct co-operation of Oholei Torah administration and the Mesivta principal, Rabbi Zushe Wilhelm, has undertaken to invigorate the Mesivta of our own boys, here, in our own shechuna.
