‘Eshel’ Thanks Volunteers, Honors Supporters
Yesterday, Monday, an evening of appreciation occurred for the dedicated staff of Eshel – Hachnosas Orchim, who for an entire month cared for the thousands of guests that traveled to spend Tishrei by the Rebbe • Full Article, Photos
The event transpired in the Eshel building, one block from 770, with the participation of the heads of the various divisions, including the Ruchniyus, lodging, medical, English and childrens divisions. (A separate event was organized for the women and girls’ staff.)
Eshel’s director Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hendel warmly thanked all the staff who volunteered their time and effort, and made it their business to ensure that the guests are as comfortable as possible.
Some of the largest benefactors and supporters of Eshel were honored with awards, including Rabbi Zusha Wilhelm, R’ Moshe Rubashkin, R’ Zalman Lezel, and others.
Rabbi Wilhelm addressed the crowd, extolling the virtues of Hachnosas Orchim generally, of the Rebbe’s guests in particular.
