As previously reported, Yesterday Associated Beis Rivkah Schools, Crown Heights’s largest girls school, notified teachers and parents that they will not be resuming their regular school day “due to unresolved financial matters”. The closure applied to the Pre-1 A, Elementary, and High School divisions.
Today, Beis Rivkah recorded a robocall to its parent registry which notified them that the school will resume its regular schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, for all divisions. The school however reiterated that its financially troubled status has not changed.
This wasn’t the first time Beis Rivkah was forced to shut its doors because of financial strain. Multiple times in recent years the school delayed resuming school, often for short periods of time and affecting only select divisions.
