    Appreciation Gala Dinner Thanks 150 ‘Igud’ Supporters

    Nearly 150 supporters of the ‘Yisachar and Zevulun’ program as part of the Igud Talmidei Hakevutza, were thanked at a gala dinner held last night in the Jewish Children’s Museum.

    The ‘Yisachar and Zevulun’ program as part of the Igud Talmidei Hakevutza, supports the Temimim who spend the Year with the Rebbe by incentivizing them to learn on different learning tracks.

    The participants entered the prestigious hall of the Jewish Children’s Museum to the sounds of pleasant music, where at the entrance to the hall is displayed a photo exhibition showing Zal of 770, which has changed its face since the ‘Issachar and Zebulon’ project began to gain momentum.

    MC Rabbi Hillel Raskin opened the exciting event with divrei bracha, and invited Rabbi Chaim Meir Zalmanov, from the hanhala of the Igud to recite the Rebbe’s Kapitel. Video screens projected a video on the importance of studying Torah diligently.

    Then Rabbi Sholom Dovid Geisinski who serves as a meishiv and is known for his in-depth lessons was invited to the stage. He spoke about the special partnership between the supporters and the students, between Yissachar and Zevulon.

    Befitting such an important evening, the audience were treated to a performance by the renowned musician Gershon Freistat, who together with the singer Mendy Shapiro, performed a heartfelt Avinu Malkeinu ahead of Rosh Hashana.

    At the end Rabbi Yisrael Kaplan thanked the supporters who filled the hall and wished that the partnership with the students continue to yield material and spiritual abundance for all the supporters.

    The event ended with a sense of exaltation for the wonderful privilege, when each participant receives a unique and prestigious gift, he signs a deed with Tamim in 770 for the next year.
