A concerning incident occurred in the Crown Heights on Thursday, raising suspicions of a potential hate crime. The victim, a Jewish female, was allegedly tripped and injured by an unidentified male suspect.
According to police reports, the incident took place at approximately 10:10 AM as the victim was walking westbound on Empire Blvd, nearing the intersection of Bedford Avenue. The victim states that an unidentified black male deliberately tripped her, causing her to fall and sustain minor injuries.
Emergency services responded swiftly, and the victim was transported to Maimonides Hospital for further medical evaluation. Thankfully, she has since received treatment and has been discharged.
The NYPD has initiated an investigation into the incident and is actively looking into the matter. The authorities are working to gather more information and identify any potential suspects involved in this case.
