Sunday night marked the first night of Chanukah and in the Town of Georgina. The community came together to celebrate at the annual Menorah lighting that took place in Keswick organized by Chabad Jewish Centre of Georgina. Thousands crowded at the foot of the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, where a giant menorah was set up to be lit for all to see. In attendance were Paris’s Mayor, as well as other dignitaries.
