    Many difficulties arose this year to hold the event in light of the corona’s limitations and only after a personal appeal by the Chief Rabbi Rabbi Berel Lazar to a senior government official, who personally intervened to hold the lighting, the community director Rabbi Mordechai Weisberg received the official approval.

    The event was moderated by the community’s chairman, Rabbi Baruch Gorin, and the joyous and lively music was by the musicians R. Motti Cohen and Motti Edenson, who flew from Eretz Yisroel to especially for the event.
