New Teshura Contains Diamonds from Legendary Shliach

Several pirsumei rishon were included in 100 Pages of ma’anos and letters from the Rebbe to Rabbi Shmuel Lew, published Wednesday in a teshura distributed in honor of his grandson’s wedding.
Rabbi Lew is the senior shliach to London, England, serving with his wife Hindy in the Rebbe’s army of shluchim for over 50 years.
Rabbi and Mrs. Lew are were famously the last couple for which the Rebbe was mesader kiddushin in 5723. Following their wedding, the Lews spent a number of years living in Crown Heights, where Rabbi Lew was present for many crucial events in the history of dor hashvi.
Mrs. Lew is the daughter of R’ Zalman Jaffe, who merited having a unique relationship with the Rebbe, receiving many kiruvim during his visits to 770.
The special teshura, distributed at the wedding of Berel and Chana Lew, contains many of the letters and ma’anos the Lews merited to receive, several of them now published for the very first time.
This collection reveals the special relationship that the Lew family enjoyed with the Rebbe, both before their marriage and during their decades of dedicated work in London.
