As we prepare for Yud Shvat, Anash and Temimim across the globe learn the ma’amorim of Bsasi L’Gani for that year — especially for this year, which marks 75 years of the Rebbe’s leadership. As part of the learning, many Shiurim and Kovtzim are published annually.

Of the many is a Kovetz מאמר באתי לגני תשכ”ה עם ביאור משולב, by Rabbi Shmuel Pevzner of Crown Heights, which allows learners to study and understand the ma’amer with the help of the annotation written clearly in an easy language. Ois 15 of the Frierdiker Rebbe’s ma’amer is also explained.

Rabbi Michoel Golomb, Mashpia in Tomchei Temimim 770, has published an adaptation of the Ma’amer Basi L’Gani 5725 and 5745, emphasizing the Rebbe’s Chiddushim in this ma’amer. Rabbi Golomb also emphasized the importance of learning the ma’amer first from the Rebbe’s words – without his explanation, and only afterward learning this.

Rabbi Golomb is currently a mashpia in Tomchei Temimim 770, and an author of numerous seforim on Chassidus, is known for his ability to elucidate lofty concepts in Chassidus in a clear and understandable manner.

Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in 770 published a Kovetz which includes the מארי מקומות on the subjects presented in the Basi L’Gani ma’amorim for the benefit of those who want to look at the source of the things, as well as a verbatim version of the ma’amer from the year 565 word for word as state
