In honor of Beis Iyar, the birthday of Rabbi Shmuel of Lubavitch, known as the Rebbe Maharash, you can now watch and learn from three special Ma’amarim delivered by the Rebbe and later edited (Mugah) for study.
For three consecutive years—5749 (1989), 5750 (1990), and 5751 (1991)—the Rebbe released a Ma’amar in honor of this special day.
These three powerful Ma’amarim, filled with deep Chassidic insight, are now available in English on YouTube, taught by Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz, Shliach of the Rebbe in Fort Myers, Florida.
What You’ll Gain:
• Clear, engaging classes in English
• Authentic teachings from the Rebbe
• Inspiring messages rooted in Chassidus
• A deeper connection to the legacy of the Rebbe Maharash
Who Was the Rebbe Maharash?
Born on Beis Iyar 5594 (1834) in Lubavitch, Rabbi Shmuel was the youngest son of the Tzemach Tzedek. Despite his age, he became Rebbe after his father’s passing and led with strength and vision from 1866 to 1882. He traveled across Russia advocating for the Jewish people and is best known for the motto:
“Lechatchila Ariber – When the world says: If you can’t go under, go over. I say: From the outset, go over!”
This bold, fearless approach became a cornerstone of the Chabad way of life.
Celebrate Beis Iyar by learning these Ma’amarim and connecting with the powerful spirit of the Rebbe Maharash.
