Every year on Yud Shvat the Rebbe says a Ma’amer in connection with ‘that years’ perek.
The way it works is; the Freiderker Rebbe’s Ma’amer for Yud Shvat was part of a ‘Hemshich’ that had in it 20 perokim. The first year (5711) the Rebbe spoke mainly about the first perek, the second year (5712) mainly about the second perek and so on, after twenty years the Rebbe started the cycle again.
In that cycle this year is the fifth perek. We have two Ma’amorim from the Rebbe on the fifth perek, from the year 5715 and 5735.
