We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Habochur Hatomim Yehuda Leib Greenwald, born and raised in Melbourne, Australia and later lived in Crown Heights for the past many years. He passed away on Monday, the 5th of Iyar, 5784.
He was 36.
With his infectious smile and radiant joy, Yehudah Leib would light up any room he walked into. Forever positive and full of life, he always had a good word to say and lived to make a fellow yid happy.
He was synonymous with gemilas chasodim, always willing and able to do another person a favor. And was an active member of The Chabad House of Crown Heights, directed by Rabbi Chaim Pil, participating in many regular shiurim, minyanim, and farbrengens.
He is survived by his parents, Nosson and Bela, and siblings Rochel Leah, Chaim, Chana, Sholom Ber, Brocha, and Miriam.
