Two Israelis were killed in a rocket attack from Lebanon in Nahariya Tuesday afternoon, HY”D.The victims, both in their forties, were critically wounded in a direct rocket strike on a building in Nahariya. First responders attempted to resuscitate them, but they were declared dead at the scene.
Magen David Adom (MDA) reported, “Today, shortly after the Red Alert sirens sounded around 16:00 in the Nahariya area, reports were received at the Magen David Adom (MDA) 101 emergency call center about two males in their 40s who were critically injured by a rocket strike, and a male and female who were injured by shrapnel near the Kabri junction.”
“Large Magen David Adom teams were dispatched to the scenes, including ambulances, mobile intensive care units (MICUs), and MDA responders on medicycles, who quickly arrived at the location. In the Nahariya area, after resuscitation efforts, MDA paramedics were had to pronounce the deaths of two males in their 40s who were hit by the rocket. Near the Kabri junction, MDA EMTs and paramedics treated a male and female, aged about 30 and 40, who were mildly injured in their legs by shrapnel after exiting their vehicle when the siren sounded and lying down by the side of the road.
At the same time, Red Alert sirens were activated in multiple areas in northern and central Israel Tuesday afternoon as terrorists in Lebanon launched three rockets at the Tel Aviv area. Alarms were activated in the cities of Tel Aviv, Bnei Brak, Givat Hashlosha, Givat Shmuel, Herzliya, Kiryat Ono, and Ramat Gan, among others.
The IDF stated, “Sirens sounded in numerous areas in northern and central Israel following projectiles that crossed from Lebanon.”
Shortly afterward, the IDF added, “Following the sirens that sounded in numerous areas in central Israel, the IAF intercepted three projectiles that crossed from Lebanon.”
