With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of the young Sholem Benchimol, OB”M, the son of Rabbi and Mrs. Yossi Benchimol of Florida. He was only 17-years-old. Tragically, he passed away today, Thursday, Vov Iyar.
He passed away after getting hit by a car while riding a bike this past Sunday, he fell into a coma and unfortunately never woke up from it.
His parents serve as leaders of an Orthodox Sephardic Latin Shul called ‘Beit Rambam’ in Sunny Isles, Florida.
Sholem graduated the Lubavitch Educational Center (LEC) in Miami Beach and was now learning in the Scheck Hillel Community School in North Miami Beach.
