We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Rabbi Yitzchok Yadgar, OBM, a longtime Shliach in Northern Israel. He passed away on Tuesday, 29 Tammuz, 5783.
Rabbi Yadgar was born to Iraqi immigrants and became mekushar to Chabad through Rabbi Shmuel Elazar Halperin. He learned in the Chabad Yeshivah in Lud.
A year after marriage to Simcha, he moved on Shlichus Moshav Avital in the Taanach region, where he joined the school staff and also led the Chabad community in the region.
He was predeceased by his wife Mrs. Simcha Yadgar OBM.
He is survived by his children, Shterna Sarah Chaiby – Rechovot, Israel; Rochel Kill – Gan Ner, Israel; Rabbi Shimon Yadgar – Yerushalayim, Israel; Rabbi Shmuel Yadgar – Beer Sheva, Israel; Rabbi Moti Yadgar – Tzfas, Israel; Penina Levy – Migdal Haemek, Israel; Chani Edrei – Yerushalayim, Israel and Mendy Yadgar – Crown Heights. And grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The levaya will take place Wednesday, at 5:30 pm in Gan Ner, Israel.
