    With great sadness we regret to inform you of the unfortunate passing of the well known Crown Heights educator, Rabbi Velvel Marasow, OB”M. He passed away on Thursday, Yud Gimmel Iyar. He was 84-years-old.

    He is survived by his wife Naomi, and children, Chanie Lazar, Montreal, Canada; Yosef Yitzchok Marasow, Seattle, WA; Moshe Shmuel Marasow, Crown Heights; Elchonon Marasow, Paris, France; Shrage Marasow, Crown Heights; and Zalman Marasow, Crown Heights; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
