We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Rabbi Uziyohu (Uzi) Brown, a member of the Manchester, England Chabad community and a renowned sofer. He passed away Monday night, 24 Teves, 5783.
Rabbi Brown was an accomplished sofer in Manchester, UK serving the Chabad community and the broader Jewish community in the city.
He is survived by his wife Belinda and children Yisroel Dovid Brown – Coral Springs, FL; Rabbi Shmuel Brown – Liverpool, UK; and Zechariah (Zac) Brown – Manchester, UK; and grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brother Yisroel Brown of Manchester, UK.
The Levaya will be held today at Lubavitch of Manchester, 62 Singleton Road, M7 to the Machzikei Hadas cemetery.
