We are saddened to report that Rabbi Shmuel Baruch Haviv, a Shliach in Tzfas, was tragically killed in a horrific car accident on Highway 8900, between Tzfas and Meron, on Thursday, the third day of Chol Hamoed Pesach.
He was 30 years old.
Rabbi Shmuel Baruch Haviv dedicated his life as a Shliach of the Rebbe Melech Hamoshiach, serving in the “Ufaratzta” Chabad House in Tzfas, which does Mivtzoim Kibbutzim in the North.
He left behind his wife Dina and infant son, both of whom were injured in the accident, who are in need of prayers and Hashem’s mercy. Please continue to say Tehillim for Dina Bracha bas Sara, and Menachem Mendel ben Dina Bracha.
He is also survived by his father, Rabbi Yitzchak Haviv from Yerushalayim, and his siblings: Rabbi Shneur Haviv (Elad), Rabbi Mendi Haviv (Kfar Chabad), and Nechami Peyson (Chicago, IL).
