With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Gedalia Korf, OB”M, a longtime member of the Crown Heights community. He passed away on Monday, Hei Nissan. He was 90-years-old.

Rabbi Korf was from the founders of the organization “Ezras Achim”, an organization to help Russian Jewry with food and financial assistance.

He is survived by his children Rabbi Yossi Korf – Crown Heights; Rabbi Yanky Korf – Crown Heights; Mrs. Sara Kessler – Montreal, Canada; Rabbi Sholom Ber Korf – Delray Beach, FL; Mrs. Dini Ciment – Boynton Beach, FL; Rabbi Alter Korf – S. Petersburg, FL; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings Rabbi Pinyeh Korf of Crown Heights; Rabbi Avraham Korf –of Miami, FL; and Mrs. Batsheva Shemtov – Oak Park, MI.
