We are saddened to report on the passing of Rabbi Dovid (Daniel) Uzan, a longtime Shliach in Paris for over 50 years, who passed away on Shabbos, 4 Adar, 5783.
We are saddened to report on the passing of Rabbi Dovid (Daniel) Uzan, a longtime shliach in Paris, passed away on Shabbos, 4 Adar, 5783.
He was a longtime shliach in Paris for over 50 years and was part of what was known as ‘the group’, that founded and directed the Chabad Centers in Paris in its early days.
He is survived by his wife, Marta Uzan, and children, Menachem Mendel, Levi Yitzchok, Shterna Sara, Chana, Devorah, Esther Hadassah, Perla and Menucha Rochel.
The Levaya will take place today, Sunday, leaving from Paris to burial in Israel.
The levaya in Israel will take place on Monday at 10AM at Shamgar Funeral home with burial in the Chabad section on Har Hazeisim.
