    With great sadness and pain we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Aaron Eliezer Ceitlin, OB”M, from the Rebbe’s Shluchim to Eretz Yisroel, Mashpia in the city of Tzfas, and in charge of many institutions in Tzfas.

    He passed away at the age of 62, after suffering from a terrible sickness.

    Rabbi Ceitlin was born in Montreal, Canada, 8 Tishrei 5714. He studied there in Yeshiva as well. Afterwords he studied in 770.

    He was sent later on by the Rebbe, to be of his Shluchim to Eretz Yisroel, in the city of Tzfas. In Tzfas Rabbi Ceitlin took responsibility of many areas, including the kindergartens, which had under it over 1,500 children.

    He is survived by his wife Ruti Ceitlin and their children; Levi Yitzchok – Chaifa, Israel; Mendy – Tzfas, Israel; Chanie – Tzfas, Israel; Devorah Leah Edelkopf – Crown Heights; Sternie Edelkopf – Crown Heights; Chaya Wolosow – Tzfas, Israel and Heshy.

    He is also surived by his mother Mrs. Riva Ceitlin – Montreal, Canada; and siblings; Shterna Sara Kalmanson – Cincinatti, OH; Brocho Teitelbaum – Crown Heights; Zelda Yarmush – Montreal, Canada; Esti Benshimon – Montreal, Canada; Yosef Yitzchok Ceitlin – Toronto, Canada and Devorah Leah Mishulovin – Los Angeles, CA.

    The Levaya will be today, Thursday, in New York. Leaving Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 3:00, passing by 770 at about 3:45.

    The Ceitlin family will be sitting Shiva in New York at 1402 Carroll Street, between the hours 12:00 pm -10:00 pm.

    Davening times on Friday: Shachris 9:00 am and 2 minyanim at 10:00 am. Mincha 3 minyanim at 3:00 pm.

    Rest of week: Shachris – 8:00, 9:00, 10:00; Mincha & Maariv – 3 minyanim b’zmano.
