With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Reb Chaim Schneur Zalman Shur, OB”M, one of the eltere Chassidim of Montreal. He passed away on Thursday, 4 Shvat, 5776. He was 92 years old.
He is survived by his children Rebbetzin Sheindel Chaikin – Cleveland, OH; Rabbi Fitche Shur – Crown Heights; his daughter-in-law Mrs. Hadassah Shur – London; Mrs. Alta Silberstein – Montreal; Rabbi Moshe Shur – Montreal; Mrs. Kreina Lepkivker – Crown Heights; Rabbi Yona Shur – Toronto; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Levaya will take place today, Thursday at 2:00 pm at Chesed Shel Emes in Montreal.
