With great sadness we inform you of the passing of R’ Tzvi Elimelech (Hershel) Sandhaus, OB”M, of Ziknei Anash and recent resident of Crown Heights. He passed away Tuesday morning, the 24th of Elul. He was 95-years-old.
R’ Tzvi Elimelech and his wife Zissel were pillars of the Chabad community in Argentina for many years. Following the passing of his wife, he moved to Crown Heights.
He is survived by his children, Sruli Sandhaus – Crown Heights; Tzippy Leverto – Phoenix, AZ; and Deby Rosenfeld – Zurich, Switzerland.
He was predeceased by his wife Zissel, and son Yossel Sandhaus.
The Levaya will take place today, Tuesday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at around 2:00pm and passing by 770 at around 3:00.
