We are saddened to report on the passing of R’ Betzalel Malasky, a longtime resident of Crown Heights. He passed away today, Tes Kislev, 5785.
He was 87.
Betzalel moved to Crown Heights in the late 1960s after studying sciences and serving in the US Military in Korea.
He then learned in Hadar Hatorah and Yeshiva Derech Chaim. He married and raised his family in Crown Heights.
Betzalel was known as a humble, honest, and sincere Yid with a lot of Yiras Shamayim.
He is survived by his wife Esther, and daughters Rivkie Groyer, Nechamie Srugo, Sara Avrashmi, Chani Antian, and beloved grandchildren.
His levaya passed by 770 at 2:00 pm today.
