We are deeply saddened report on the passing of Lieutenant Nethanel Menachem Eitan, HY”D, a Lubavitch Chassid of Yerushalayim and soldier, who was killed in Northern Gaza, Al Kiddush Hashem, while defending Eretz Yisroel.
He was 22.
Nethanel learned in Chabad mosdos in Yerushalayim and lived in the Ramat neighborhood of Yerushalayim.
He served as a cadet in the Bahad 1 officers school’s Gefen Battalion, and a soldier in the Air Force’s Unit 669.
On Friday, he was injured while defending Eretz Yisroel from Hamas on Friday in northern Gaza and later died of his wounds, Al Kiddush Hashem.
