With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Yenta (Lena) Barash, OB”M, a longtime resident of Crown Heights. She passed away Sunday, 24 Kislev, 5776. She was 97 years old.
Mrs. Barash arrived in America in 1961, from Krimenchuk, Ukraine. She was predeceased by her husband R’ Laizer Barash, OB”M.
She is survived by her son Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Barash of Crown Heights, grandchildren that are Shluchim in Prague; Jupiter, Florida; Naples, Florida and Hollywood, Florida and great-grandchildren.
The Levaya will be take place today, Sunday, leaving shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 12:00 pm and passing by 770 at 12:45 pm.
