With great sadness we inform you o the passing of Mrs. Thirza Posner, OB”M, of Crown Heights. She passed away Friday, 12 Tishrei, 5777. She was 87 years old.
Mrs. Posner, along with – yblc”t – her husband Rabbi Yehuda Leib Posner, was the first wedding the Rebbe MH”M was mesader kiddushin, after officialy accepting the nessios.
She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Posner and children, Chana Sonnenfeld – Nachlas Har Chabad, Israel; Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Posner – Skokie, IL; Rabbi Uri Posner – Crown Heights; Rabbi Yechezkel Posner – Crown Heights; Rabbi Shmuel Posner – Boston, MA; Mrs. Brocha Sapochkinsky – Westlake, CA and Mrs. Elisheva Mishulovin – Beitar, Israel.
She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren ke”h.
The levaya will take place tomorrow, Sunday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 9:00 am and passing by 770 at 10”00 am.
