With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Sarah Pesha (Sonia) Kaplan, OB”M, wife of Rabbi Binyomin Kaplan, OB”M. She passed away on Monday, the 9th of Teves. She was 98-years-old.
She was the daughter of the Chossid, R’ Nochum Yitzchok Pinson, and lived in Crown Heights for many years, and recently moved to Eretz Yisroel.
She is survived by her children, Rabbi Nachum Kaplan – Crown Heights; Rabbi Shmuel Kaplan – Baltimore, MD; and Mrs. Cherry Ulman – Chashmonaim, ER”Y; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many of whom are Shluchim around the world.
She was predeceased by her son, Rabbi Leibel Kaplan, OB”M, of Tzfas.
The Levaya will take place today in Yerushalayim.
