With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Shula Kazen, OB”M, a matriarch of a large Lubavitch family. Mrs. Kazen passed away Motzei Shabbos Parshas Tzav.
Mrs. Kazen was a dedicated Shlucha in Cleveland, Ohio for many years.
She is survived by her children; Mrs. Devorah Alevsky – Cleveland, OH; Mrs. Henya Laine – Brooklyn, NY; Mrs. Bluma Wienberg – Kansas City, MO; Mrs. Rivka Kotlarsky – Brooklyn, NY; Mrs. Rochel Goldman – Johannesburg, South Africa.
She was predeceased by her daughter Mrs. Esther Alpern, and her son Rabbi YY Kazen.
She is also survived by hundreds of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, many of whom are Shluchim around the world.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Sunday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at around 1:30pm and passing by 770 at around 2:30pm.

I knew Mrs. Kazen very well . I am very happy to have had a chance to have met her in Cleveland. Baruch HaShem she lived a beautiful busy life as a Shlucha of The Rebbe and has left behind her a beautiful family with many children and grandchildren.
