With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Serel Chana Maness, OB”M, a longtime resident of Crown Heights. She was 61 years old. She passed away earlier today, Thursday, Gimmel Sivan.
Born in Philadelphia, Serel was inspired by Chabad to strengthen her connection with her heritage and lead a more Torah observant life and studied at Bais Chana Institute of Jewish Studies in Minnesota
She is survived by her husband R’ Yeshaya and their children R’ Moshe Maness – Crown Heights; Mrs. Altie Silverberg – Paramus, NJ; Esther Maness – Flatbush and Nechama Maness – Flatbush.
The Lavaya will take place today, Thursday, 3:00pm at Shomrei Hadas and passing by 770 around 3:45pm.
Shiva will be observed at 770 Lefferts Ave. Apt #A1L.
