    We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Mrs. Sara Mishulovin (Cohen), OBM, who fought to keep Yiddishkeit alive behind the iron curtain and the matriarch of a Chabad family. She passed away on 23 Kislev 5784.

    She was 91.

    Together with her husband Reb Chaim Eliyahu Mishulovin OBM, she fought to keep Yiddishkeit alive behind the iron curtain, and specifically in Samarkand. The Tomchei Temimin Yeshiva in Samarkand operated out of their home.

    She is Survived by her children Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Mishulovin, Los Angeles, CA. Rebbetzin Rochel Gluckowsky, (wife of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Gluckowsky) Rechovot, Eretz Yisroel. Reb Sholom Dovber Mishulovin, S. Paul, Minnesota. and many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

    She is also survived by her brothers Rabbi Berel Zaltzman, Fair Lawn, NJ, and Rabbi Hillel Zaltzman, Brooklyn, NY.

    The family asks that Rabbi Berel Zaltzman of NJ not be informed of his sister’s passing.

    The Levaya is taking place today in Yerushalayim.
