With great sadness and shock we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Sara Deren, OB”M, a resident of Crown Heights, passed away on Monday, 20 Cheshvan 5776. She passed away at the age of 38.
Her husband Rabbi Mendy Deren, who grew up on Shlichus in Stamford, CT, passed away five years ago, on 27 Cheshvan 5771.
She is survived by her parents, David and Tziona Cohen, residents of the Gilo neighborhood in Yerushalayim, her siblings, and their families, and her in-laws Rabbi Yisrael and Vivi Deren of Stamford, CT, and the extended Deren family.
The lavaya will pass by 770 Eastern Parkway on Monday, 8:15 pm; burial will take place in Eretz Yisroel.
