We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Mrs. Rochel Chaiton, a longtime educator in Portland, Oregon, and later in Las Vegas, Nevada. She passed away on Sunday, 19 Teves, 5784
She was 57.
Together with her husband Rabbi Yosef Chaiton, she moved on Shlichus to Portland, Oregon, where they served as Shluchim and educators at the local Chabad school.
In 5778, they continued their Shlichus in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Desert Torah Academy, where Mrs. Chaiton served as teacher.
She is survived by her husband Rabbi Yosef Chaiton, her children Shmully Chaiton – Crown Heights and Rabbi Dovber Chaiton, Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is also survived by her siblings: Bentzion Shubov – Crown Heights, Mendel Shubov, Toronto and Esther Krinsky – Crown Heights.
