With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Rivkah Shaina Notik, OB”M, a matriarch of a large Chabad family. She passed away Thursday morning, Yud Sivan. She was 93-years-old.

Mrs. Notik was born in Russia, and lived for many years in Brunoy. Her later years she lived in Crown Heights.

Her husband Reb Shalom DovBer passed away 17 years ago.

She is survived by her children, Esther Hertzel – Crown Heights; Shmuel Notik – Beitar Illit, ER”Y; Yosef Y. Notik – Paris, France; Zvi H. Notik – Crown Heights; Menachem M. Notik – Seattle, WA; Avigael Notik – Paris, France; Devorah Hershkop – Crown Heights; Avrohom Zorach Notik – Crown Heights and Moshe Shimon Notik – Montreal, Canada.

She is also survived by her siblings, Chayim Shmuel M. M. Liberow – London, England; Shalom DovBer Liberow – Brunoy, France; Aleksander Sender Liberow – Manchester, England; Shneur Zalman Liberow – Antwerp, Belgium and Fraidel Zirkind – Montreal, Canada.

The Levaya will take place today, leaving Shomrei Hadas at around 1:00 pm and passing by 770 at around 1:45 pm.

Shiva will take place at the home of R’ Tzvi Hirsh Notik, 1665 President St., between Utica and Schenectady.
