With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Riva Minkowitz, OB”M, a longtime resident of Crown Heights. She passed away today, Sunday, 24 Adar Sheini, 5776. She was 92 years old.
She was well known for her involvement in the Mitvah of Hachnosas Kallahand for her open home and hosting many guests.
She is survived by her children R’ Meir Minkowitz – Crown Heights; Mrs. Chanie Lipskar – Bal Harbour, FL; Mrs. Bassie Medalie – Johannesburg, South Africa; R’ Itche Minkowitz – Crown Heights; Mrs. Sarah Shusterman – Beverly Hills, CA; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The Levaya will be tomorrow, Monday.
