With great sadness, we regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Miriam Rosenblum, OB”M, a longtime Shlucha and educator from Pittsburgh, PA. She passed away on Wednesday, Chof Gimmel Kislev. She was 78-years-old.
Mrs. Rosenblum was born in Russia to R’ Nochum and Sarah Relka Wolosow, as a young child, she and her parents escaped from Russia and eventually made it to New York.
In 1961, she married Rabbi Ephraim Rosenblum, OB”M, and shortly after moved out on Shlichus to Pittsburgh, PA serving as educators and Shluchim for decades.
She is survived by her children: Mrs. Fraidy Gurevitch, Crown Heights; Mrs. Rivky Raices, Skokie, IL; Rabbi Yossi Rosenblum, Pittsburgh, PA; Mrs. Chanie Baron, Columbia, MD; Rabbi Yehoshua Dovid Rosenblum, Caracas, Venezuela; Rabbi Mendy Rosenblum, South Hills, PA, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Rabbi Ephraim Rosenblum, OB”M.
The Levaya will take place on Thursday, passing by 770 at 12:00 PM.
