We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Mrs. Leah (Luba) Pinson, OBM, wife of Rabbi Yehoshua Pinson, 770 Gabbai. She passed away on Sunday morning, 17 Elul, 5783.
She was 100.
She was born in Haditch, Russia to the Gansburg family. She trained and worked as a doctor, and when immigration opened up, she immigrated to Israel and settled in Kfar Chabad, where she worked in a local hospital.
She moved to New York and married Rabbi Yehoshua Pinson, 770 Gabbai. She had an open house and made many Ba’alei Teshuva, and arranged Shidduchim for the Russian community
The Levaya will take place on Sunday, passing 770 at 2:00 PM. Burial at Montefiore cemetery in Queens.
