We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Mrs. Judy Silber, OBM, the husband Chazzan Ephraim Silber was a pillar of the Jewish community in Chicago, Illinois passed away on Shabbos, 28 Teves, 5783.
She was 88 years old.
Mrs. Silber and her husband Chazzan Ephraim Silber were pillars of Chicago’s Chabad community, and the frum community at large.
She is survived by her husband Chazan Ephraim Silber and her children Rabbi Mayer Silber, Dina Chaviv, and Brookie Silber.
The levaya will take place Monday, 10:00 AM, at Chicago Jewish Funerals. Skokie Chapel, 8851 Skokie Boulevard, Skokie, Illinois 60077.
Levaya in Eretz Yisroel Tuesday at 7:15 PM at Shamgar, followed by Kevurah at Har Hazeisim.
The family will be sitting shiva at the Silber Residence 2960 West Glenlake Avenue Chicago, Illinois 60659.
