With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Goldie Shifrin, OB”M, a longtime member of the Crown Heights community. She passed away on Motzei Shabbos, Yud Alef Nissan. She was 73-years-old.
Mrs. Shifrin was an active member of the Crown Heights community, being heavily involved with the Chevra Kadisha. She was also a well-known Kallah teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Hirschel Shifrin and children, Sara Steinmetz – Sarasota, FL; Zev Shifrin – Thousand Oaks, CA; Eli Shifrin – Little Neck, NY; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
