We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Mrs. Chaya Gansburg, OBM, a mother and grandmother from Crown Heights and a longtime kindergarten teacher at Oholei Torah. She passed away on Thursday, 16 Av, 5783.
She was 76.
Mrs. Gansburg served as a kindergarten teacher at Oholei Torah, for many years and was known to many as “Morah Chaya.”
She is survived by her children Chanie Nahmani – Monsey, NY; Mendy Gansburg – London, UK; Shaina Smolowitz – Phoenix, Arizona; Yasef Gansburg – Crown Heights; Sorole Weissman – Flatbush; Rivky Gansburg – Boro Park; Miriam Leahle Davidson – Oak Park, Michigan; Shmuel Moshe Gansburg – Crown Heights; Arele Gansburg – Crown Heights.
The levaya will take place Friday morning, passing by 770 at 9:30 am and burial 10:30 am at Montefiore Cemetery.
