We regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Baruch Hyman, a dedicated member of the Pittsburgh Chabad community known for his involvement in mivtzoim, sadly passed away on Friday, 18 Tammuz, 5783.
An active member of the Chabad community in Pittsburgh, R’ Baruch was a sincere and devoted chossid of the Rebbe, exemplary in doing the Rebbe’s mivtzoim wherever he was – in the store, at home, on his way, bedarchei noam and with an emes.
His legacy is being carried on by his wife Mrs. Taibke Hyman their children Sara Esther Bongart – Monsey, NY; Chaya Hoffinger – Pittsburgh, PA; Moishe Hyman – Kingston, PA; Mrs. Nomi Leimdorfer – Harrisonburg, VA; Miriam Horowitz – Altoona, PA; – Bluma Dinerman – Winchester, VA; Baila Hyman – Pittsburgh, PA; Dini Kreitenberg – Crown Heights; many grandchildren, his father Leonard Hyman his sister Chery Hyman, and many who were touched by his light.
The levaya took place on Sunday in Pittsburgh.

The family is sitting Shiva until Friday at 5933 Phillips Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
Hours are 11am-1pm and 7-9:30pm.
